Date-Based Calculation
This method calculates usage based on the calendar date of activation (local time), with the first day ending at midnight.
Example: If the service is activated on October 1 at 10:00 PM, the first day of usage ends at 11:59 PM on October 1.

Hour-Based Calculation
This method calculates usage based on a 24-hour period from the time of activation.
Example: If the service is activated on 10/1 at 10:01 PM, the first day ends at 10:00 PM on 10/2.
