The first time I knew about Mui ne was when I saw a friend's picture on Facebook. Oh! I got so amazed that I thought: I definitely need to go there. I told to another friend I will visit this place and he told me: You must go there, you will love it!

I confess I did too little research about the place and I considered the sand dunes as the only attraction. I arrived at night with my friends and we hired a tour in one agency that was open late.

We started the day really early; the driver picked us up at our hotel to go to see the sunrise at the white sand dunes. In the place, you can walk, but if your time is limited you can take a ride to the dunes on a quad bike, that makes the visit funnier. The Dunes are stunning and the sunrise view is a complete spectacle. What an inspiring way to start a morning with all the sun rays dancing across the landscape. Take off your shoes and feel the sand while you experience a freedom sensation.

At the moment, it overpassed my expectation about Mui ne, so for me, the rest of the tour would be some add-ons. Then, we went to our second tour spot, the red sand dunes, and I realized I was so wrong. The red dunes are so impressive! The color makes it lovely and you can play there, sit down in the sand and see the ocean, or if you like the adventure you can make sandboarding.

After this, the driver took us to Lang Chi Fishing Village. The road along the coastline is some meters above the sea.  So, in the arriving, you have a complete view of the fishing activities on the shoreline. Everything looks so picturesque: The fishers with their typical Vietnamese hats on the coast carrying, cleaning and choosing the catch, the blue water, the colorful vessels and the small boats floating and widespread on the sea, creating an armada atmosphere that remembered me to the Caribbean Pirates movie.

The final place we visited was the Fairy Spring; it was the cherry on the cake! We went down some stairs passing under a bridge, and then we saw a creek and few people walking against the stream. We took our shoes off and began the promenade. The water flow was slow and it just covered our ankles.  As we were strolling, the water was changing its color from muddy to red. We passed many trees, and it just felt like we were in the jungle about to discover something. And so it was, we saw fascinating rock formations and dunes that become as high as canyons. The formations on white and red are so admirable! You can also scale a dune to have an unforgettable view of the surrounding landscape. Undoubtedly, it is a magical walk.

The trip was wonderful, I am glad to have had the opportunity to experience Mui ne, its nature and its culture. Absolutely recommendable!
